Fenwick Library Lobby Renovation - Summer/Fall 2004

The front entrance and lobby of Fenwick Library will be closed for
renovation beginning on Thursday, July 8th, 2004. The door on the south side of
the building will be used as the library entrance during the renovation.
The renovation will allow the Interlibrary Loan Department to join the
Circulation Department on the first floor, as well as improve the appearance
of the lobby area. In the future, this renovation will allow more space for
collection expansion and study areas. All library services will continue to
be available throughout the time of renovation.
The Circulation Desk will be temporarily located right inside the south side entrance in the Government Documents area. The Periodicals/Microforms area will be accessible by taking an elevator to the 2nd floor and using the staircase in that area to get to the 1st floor part of the Periodicals area. Anyone needing assistance to access Periodicals/Microforms can ask at the Circulation or Reference desks and a Periodicals staff member will be contacted to assist you. The library will have signs and flyers that will direct patrons to Periodicals/Microforms and to the temporary entrance. The expected completion date of this renovation project is mid-November 2004.
