Collections at George Mason University Libraries
The University Libraries strive to ensure provision of the best possible collections of research resources and scholarly materials in all formats for our users throughout the university community, supporting the University's goals of learning, teaching, and research.
Physical collections comprising books, microforms, government documents, maps, and multimedia are distributed among four libraries – the Fenwick and Johnson Center libraries on the Fairfax campus, the Arlington Campus Library, and the Mercer Library on the Prince William Campus. There is also a separate Law Library in Arlington. Special Collections and Archives hold rare and unique materials, which are made accessible for research and showcased through rotating exhibits.
In addition to physical assets, the library provides a wealth of online resources, including e-books, journals, digitized primary source collections, datasets, and more.
