Mission Statement on Distance Learning

The University Libraries is committed to George Mason's distance learning programs by supporting the teaching, learning, and research needs of its students, faculty, and staff affiliated with University-level approved distance learning programs. The Libraries will achieve this goal by providing access to a full range of quality library resources and services. Additionally, the University Libraries shall engage in an ongoing effort to regularly assess the library and research needs of the distance learning students and faculty and to explore and develop new library services.
