The web edition offers several exclusive multimedia features such as videos and podcasts on current topics in higher education. Additionally, eligible users can take advantage of numerous interactive tools including careers and job listings in U.S. and international colleges and universities. Tools include assistance with creating new cover letters, resumes, and curriculum vitae.
Also, eligible users can sign up for Chronicle E-Mail Alerts including Academe Today- daily reports from the Chronicle of Higher Education, The Wired Campus Newsletter – a daily look at education-technology headlines from The Chronicle and the Internet, and The On Hiring Newsletter- a resource for those charged with hiring academics or administrators. Users can also access the current annual Almanac of Higher Education, which contains the most recent trends and up to date demographic data on higher education.
Moreover, users can participate in blogs, forums, and discussions online about issues covering higher education. The web edition offers weekly reviews of new scholarly books arranged by discipline and a best selling list of books of what people are reading on campus.
