  Annotated entries on books and articles that discuss contemporary American women playwrights and feminist theatre. For individual playwrights the production and publication histories are given for selected plays; also citations for profiles and interviews, and reviews of plays.

• Companion to Post-War British Theatre

  Emphasizes playwrights and actors, and includes some of the most influential directors. Some entries have bibliographies.
