Represents physicians, scientists and other health care professionals who specialize in infectious diseases.

National Center for Biodefense & Infectious Diseases, George Mason University
Provides consultation, education, and training in the area of  biodefense. Offers graduate certificate and master’s and doctoral programs, the first university-based academic programs of their kind.

National Disaster Medical System
A section within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Response Division, Operations Branch. Responsible for supporting Federal agencies in the management and coordination of the Federal medical response to major emergencies and Federally declared disasters including acts of terrorism.

U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases
The lead medical research laboratory for the U.S. Biological Defense Research Program.
