- Listservs
related to Chemistry
- Listservs,
or mailing lists, are a way for people to communicate on a particular
topic. Messages are sent and received via email. You must request to
be subscribed or unsubscribed from the listserv and some listservs may
be moderated (messages are approved before they are posted).
Newsgroups related to Chemistry
- Similar
to listservs, newsgroups are a place (sometimes a web site) to read
postings, announcements, or discussions on particular topics. Think
of them as a listserv online and not in your e-mailbox. You may or may
not have to request to subscribe to a newsgroup. As with a listserv,
a newsgroup may or may not be moderated.
