British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies The British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies is a refereed academic journal published for the British Society for Middle Eastern Studies (popularly known as BRISMES). The Journal's coverage between the modern social sciences and the more traditional disciplines associated with Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. Vols. 18-25 (1991-1998) . British Journal of Political Science Contributions are drawn from all fields of political science (including political theory, political behaviour, public policy and international relations), and articles from scholars in related disciplines (sociology, social psychology, economics and philosophy) appear frequently. Comparative Studies in Society and History It is a multidisciplinary journal that covers cultural studies and theory, especially in anthropology, history, politicalscience, and sociology. Contemporary Sociology: A Journal of Reviews "CS publishes reviews and critical discussions of recent works in sociology and in related disciplines which merit the attention of sociologists." Europe-Asia Studies This journal is a continuation of Soviet Studies (Vols. 1-44, 1949-199) journal. New title is intended to reflect the way in which the transformation of these countries' political and economic systems is affecting their relationship with the rest of Europe, and the growing links between what was Soviet Central Asia and other countries in both Europe and Asia. Vols. 45-50, 1993-1998. Far Eastern Quarterly Vols. 1-15, 1941-1956 continues as The Journal of Asian Studies Each issue contains articles on history, art, social sciences, and contemporary issues of East, South, and Southeast Asia. Vols. 16-57 (1956-1998). Gender and Society Vols. 1-12 (1987-1998). Global Environmental Politics Vol. 3, 2003. GEP examines the relationship between global political forces and environmental changes. Hispanic American Historical Review It covers the Latin American history and culture. Vols.1-79 (1918-1999). Industrial and Labor Relations Review This journal used to cover mostly collective bargaining. Right now, it focuses on organizational behavior, human resource management, workplace safety, and income security. Vols. 1-50 (1947-1996). International Journal of Middle East Studies It publishes original research on politics, society and culture in the Middle East from the seventh century to the present day. The journal also covers Spain, south-east Europe, and parts of the former Soviet Union for the periods in which these territories were under the influence of Middle Eastern civilization. Vols. 1-24 (1974-1998). Journal of Sport Behavior 1992-present. This journal "illustrates empirical, theoretical, positive, and normative approaches to urban economics.
