Periodicals
University Libraries collection of physical Periodicals and Microforms are located in Fenwick Library. The
collection includes current and bound print journals, newspapers,and various types of microform materials. Mason Libraries collection of electronic (online) journals and periodicals can be located through the E-Journal Finder.
The Mason Library Catalog
and E-Journal Finder provide information on the location of specific titles, volumes holdings, and format, i.e., print, microform,
or electronic subscription.
For periodicals at Johnson Center
Library, the Arlington Campus Library, and the Mercer Library/Prince
William Campus Library, consult the Mason Library Catalog or the E-Journal Finder. You can also consult our list of List of Most Recently Received Journals.
- Current issues of journals are shelved in alphabetical order on the east side of the 1st floor in Wing A.
- Current newspapers are shelved on the southwest corner of the 1st floor.
- Bound journals are shelved in alphabetical order and are arranged A-PE on the 1st floor and PH-Z on the Mezzanine level.
- Microform collections are also located on the first floor. Readers and printers are also available in this area.

- Major Studies and Issue Briefs of the Congressional Research Service
These collections use their own numbering systems. Please
consult the Mason Library Catalog or the appropriate index/abstract. Some microform materials
have call numbers. Microform journals and newspapers are shelved alphabetically.
