Responsibilities and Objectives

The Technical Services Group comprises three departments:

Acquisitions & Gifts
Cataloging & Metadata Services
Serials

These units are responsible for acquiring, paying for, and receiving library research materials in all formats (Acquisitions & Gifts); management of all serials materials in terms of processing and public services (Serials & Periodicals/Microforms); and the cataloging, bibliographic control, and content maintenance of the libraries' online catalog (Cataloging & Metadata Services).
