Module 2: The Library Catalog . . . or, everything you ever wanted to know about finding books, videos, CDs, journals & more in the library The libraries' catalog is no longer on cards in drawers like the good ole days. We now have an online version of the catalog -- a computerized database (Module 1) that can be searched by specific fields. The library catalog is available in two versions: 1) Windows Version (available in the GMU Libraries) & 2) Web Version (accessible from anywhere via the www). This tutorial will focus on the www version. Tip: For more assistance using the Library Catalog ask at the reference desk or attend one of the many drop-in classes available in the Johnson Center Library.
