How does it work?
Use the online form to request a workshop on some aspect of library research.
What type of workshops can I request?
You can request a workshop on a topic related to a class or an external research project. The workshop must be library research related.
- Using statistical or qualitative analysis software.
- Managing citations with Zotero.
- Discovering the Libraries' research tools
How many people can attend a workshop?
We can accomodate up to 8 attendees.
I am a professor and want to have a workshop for my entire class. Can I request a Workshop-by-Request?
The Workshops-by-Request program is designed for small groups. For classroom instruction requests, please use the library instruction request form.
Where will the workshop take place?
The Libraries will arrange a meeting place for the workshop on the campus of your choice.
How long will the workshop be?
Workshops can be from 30 to 60 minutes.
Who will conduct the workshop?
We will identify a librarian or staff member who has expertise and/or interest in your topic to conduct the workshop. Or, you can request a specific librarian or staff member to conduct your workshop.
