My foundation is anchored in civil engineering; my career began with the US Army Corps of Engineers; pivoted to a winning NSF grant team providing technology in an urban school district; then as a high school librarian in Toledo, OH. I have work experiences archiving and completing a practicum in technical services at Bowling Green State University. I serve as adjunct faculty for the CUA Department of Library and Information Science.

Previously, Coordinator of Scholarly Communications at the Catholic University of America. This position served as campus resource and advocate for scholarly communications, open access publishing and intellectual property trends and issues.  Worked to enlarge the holdings in CUA’s institutional repository and to develop and implement an educational program on campus to increase awareness for copyright and author’s rights, open access, and other scholarly communication issues. Responsibilities at CUA included subject librarian duties for engineering, physics, chemistry and mathematics.
