Message from the University Librarian

We welcome you to the George Mason University Libraries. Whether you are a friend of the University, a current student in your dorm or home, or a Mason alumni visiting us via the web, the University Libraries appreciate your support.  Your interest comes at an exciting time for the University Libraries as we double the size of the Fenwick Library with the Fenwick Addition.

Your gift to the University Libraries allows us to provide outstanding research and academic services, which are fundamental to the Libraries’ mission, and an integral part of George Mason’s teaching and learning environment. A gift in any amount will allow the Libraries to improve collections or address other pressing needs. Your support may be outright gifts of cash, books, manuscripts, or other materials, as well as bequests and other testamentary plans.

You may make a gift.  Under Donation Allocation, please select either the School Library Fund (choosing one academic area) or the University Libraries (choosing either “Excellence Endowed Fund” acquiring research materials, “Collections Processing Fund” organizing and preserving materials, or “Library Fund” supporting library collections, services, and programming).

If you would like more information about specific allocations or have questions about other ways to give to the Libraries including naming opportunities, please contact:
