Maureen Moore

Maureen MooreMaureen Moore has held numerous library-related positions including Library Director, Federal Trade Commission library; Library Director, U.S. Department of Justice libraries; and Library Director, World Bank/International Monetary Fund library network.

 

Additionally, she has held a number of senior management positions at the World Bank including responsibility for the Bank’s Management Information System, including Manager of Information Security and institutional systems applications; Manager of worldwide IT training and support, which included establishing the Bank’s first offshore IT help desk in India; Manager of the Bank’s worldwide translations and interpretation function, establishing translation centers in Moscow, Cairo, Buenos Aires, Cameroon, and Jamaica; and Manager of the Bank’s worldwide Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

 

Ms. Moore holds a BA and MA from the University of Michigan.

 

Moore began her term with the Libraries Advisory Board in January 2020.
