Welcome to the George Mason University Libraries tutorial on linking library resources to Google Scholar. This tutorial will show you how to link the resources we have here at GMU and to search even more articles in Google Scholar.
Linking to Google Scholar
First navigate to Google Scholar, available at https://scholar.google.com
From the front page of Google Scholar, you can either sign in to your Google Account (in the upper righthand corner) to save your settings, or leave the page as is (for example if you were in a public space and do not wish to sign into your Google Account).
Next, click on 'Settings' in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Click on 'Library Links' located on the left side of the page.
Enter 'George Mason' in the main search box on this page.
Check the boxes that appear below the search box.
Click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.
Enter your search terms. For example: academic libraries. The results will include links to Mason Libraries' resources.
