Fenwick Library Tour - Research Commons

At the top of the stairs, straight ahead are two look up stations. These computers are used to quickly check call numbers, locations and/or access the library website and other electronic resources. The look up stations are not designed for lengthy research projects and the computers do not provide any productivity software. Look up stations are located in this general location or in the towers on the 3rd-5th floors.

On your right is a large open study area called the Research Commons. Designed for collaboration and interaction on projects and research, it has an open seating plan to accommodate group work – it is an Active Study area. Here you will also find many pcs with selected productivity software installed.

To continue the tour, go down the hallway - toward the windows facing Robinson Hall - to locate more Research Commons spaces.
