Elizabeth "Beth" Revor

Elizabeth Revor

Beth is a proud military brat and spouse, who spent a lifetime moving around the globe before finally settling in Fairfax just over a decade ago. Beth obtained her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from The Catholic University of America and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Secondary Education from The College of William & Mary.

Over her years as a military spouse, Beth taught English literature and writing on the high school, middle school, and community college levels. Most recently, she served as the School Librarian and Information Specialist at St. Paul VI Catholic High School, where she enjoyed modernizing collections and teaching advanced research methods as the AP Research teacher.

Beth has been able to combine her passion for both education and librarianship as she mentors the next generation of information professionals. She is currently an Adjunct Professor in the graduate Library and Information Science program at The Catholic University of America where she teaches Media Integration into the Curriculum, a course aimed at librarians looking to work in the K-12 school system.

As a member of the GMU Library Advisory Board, Beth looks forward to bringing her background in secondary education, digital equity, instructional technology, and collection development to support Mason Libraries’ academic mission and enhance resource access for the entire university community.
