Peg Weimer

Dr. Weimer is an advocate for lifelong learning with over 33 years of experience in computer education and instructional leadership. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University, as well as an M.E. in Curriculum and Instruction (Instructional Technology) and a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies Design Research, both from George Mason University. Her diverse educational background spans elementary, secondary, undergraduate, and adult education.

Throughout her career, Dr. Weimer has taught computer applications and web design, worked as an instructional technologist, and served as the Dean of Instruction at St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Chantilly, Virginia. In these roles, she designed online web page design courses, customized teacher-tracking systems, and pioneered professional development in project-based learning, design thinking, and blended learning models—efforts that proved vital during the pandemic. She also brings eight years of corporate experience as a programmer/analyst in the banking industry.

An active leader in the academic community, Dr. Weimer has served on numerous strategic planning, accreditation, and teacher evaluation committees at the local and diocesan levels. She has also served on accreditation review teams for Cognia (AdvancEd).
