The Mason Square Library (formerly Arlington Campus Library) is located on the second floor of Van Metre Hall.
Collections
Collections support the research needs of the Schar School of Policy & Government, the Carter School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, the Arts Management Master’s program, the Costello School of Business, and the College of Engineering and Computing.
Mason Square Library is designated as a European Union (EU) Document Depository, providing digital access to European Union documents for faculty, students and members of the public. The collection’s strengths lie in international governance, trade, and economic policy.
Spaces
The library has nine study rooms designed for collaborative group work and studying. Also available for use is an Assistive Technology Kit with specialized software applications for individuals with mobility, cognitive, visual and hearing impairments.
Mason Square Library features 8 computers and a dedicated Data Services terminal providing access to the the Neighborhood Change Database, Stata, SPSS, and NVivo, for students, faculty and staff use.
Non-Mason Visitor Computer Access
The library provides two public computer terminals as a courtesy for public users. These terminals are limited to accessing the libraries electronic resources.
