What is Paint Your Canvas?Paint Your Canvas: Instructional Design Training for Online Library Instructors is an asynchronous course intended for anyone who needs to learn how to use the learning management system Canvas to deliver library instruction or training. Principles of instructional design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) inform this course. Through six self-paced modules, learners will walk through the instructional design process using the ADDIE Model with the end goal of having a complete instructional design document and Canvas module designed with UDL principles. While this course includes some George Mason-specific instances, the content can be used by any library instructor with a Canvas account.
