Amanda's academic interests include the performing arts, particularly musical theatre of the 20th century, literature, film and pop culture studies, and fashion history. Her work/archival interests include processing, preservation, and creating more equitable workplace cultures.

What I do at Mason Libraries
As the Processing Coordinator, Amanda is in charge of processing and reprocessing mixed-media archival collections, consulting on processing and preservation best practices, training and supervising student workers, as well as contributing to SCRC's social media presence. She also assists with a wide variety of other tasks, including accessioning, digitization, exhibit curation, and donor relations.
She is an active member of the archives community and currently serves as the Virginia Caucus Representative for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC).
