The Format Review deadline for Spring 2022 is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29.
In order to be eligible to graduate under the Spring 2022 semester, you must receive an email from UDTS or or by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29 stating that we have approved your formatting, and that your Format Review is over.
Whether you receive that email two months before you defend or at exactly 5:00 p.m. on April 29 is immaterial.
However, you MUST receive an email notification from UDTS on or by that date/time to remain eligible to graduate in Spring 2022. In doing so, you fulfill the Format Review deadline. If you cannot do so, then you will graduate in Summer 2022 at the earliest.
The Final Submission deadline for Special Registration under Spring 2022 is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21.
The Final Submission deadline for the Spring 2022 Semester is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6.
In order to be eligible to graduate under the Spring 2022 Semester, all Master's students writing theses and all Doctoral students writing dissertations must turn in the final copies of their theses/dissertations and all necessary materials to UDTS on or by that date/time.
By "final copy," we are referring to the version of your thesis/dissertation that fulfills all of the following criteria:
- UDTS has reviewed and approved your document's formatting through the Format Review;
- You have successfully defended (if a Defense is a requirement for your degree/discipline);
- And your committee has approved your content.
If you do not turn in the final copy of your thesis/dissertation and all necessary materials on or by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, then you will graduate in Summer 2022 at the earliest.
In the interest of public health, UDTS has suspended all in-person meetings until further notice.
We can meet with you virtually, through your preferred platform (Zoom, Skype, etc.). Please visit our LibCal Scheduler to set up an appointment.
We are hosting workshops on the Process you must complete in order to graduate on time, and on the Interactive (Word) Template. Please visit the University Libraries Workshops & Events site to view and sign up for sessions.
We are always available via email: email@example.com.
If you have questions about collecting signatures for your Signature Sheet and/or Embargo Request Form, please email us, and we will help you craft the best solution for you, your committee, and your college/school/department.
