When submitting instruction requests, please consider the following:
When should I submit instruction requests?
-
Requests should be submitted at least two weeks in advance. If the request is not submitted two weeks in advance, we will do our best to accommodate your request but may not have the necessary availability.
What types of instruction/materials can I request?
-
When requesting instruction, you are welcome to look over our online face-to-face/synchronous and asynchronous teaching menus. We are also happy to work with you to create other learning activities for your students.
What should I include in my instruction request?
-
If possible, please include a syllabus and/or provide an assignment either in the instruction request form or when your library instructor contacts you. This helps us to better cater our instruction to your students’ needs and accurately discuss assignments with them.
-
The dates and times for your library instruction will be confirmed in the pre-class email sent out by the library instructor. If for any reason you need to reschedule your session, please directly email the library instructor to work out an alternative time and they will do their best to accommodate.
Where can I submit my instruction request?
-
We have an instruction request form available on our website, which is our preferred method for requests. Using the form allows for us to gather the information we need to streamline the process of teaching your class, and also makes sure you have access to the largest pool of potential instructors. You can also indicate your preferred library instructor using the form if you have a member of the team already in mind.
