Here on the third floor, which is primarily quiet study space, take a few minutes to examine Fenwick’s book stacks, or shelves. Traditional stacks are found in the towers on the 1st-5th floors. Compact shelving is located on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th floors of the new building.
Look through the Connect & Learn doors and you see traditional stacks. Since you are probably familiar with these, look down the hallway on your left and you will see compact shelving – it is on tracks. Easily moved by rotating the wheel at the end of each shelving range, instructions on using these units are also posted. Rest assured these types of shelves cannot be closed on you! Study rooms and spaces are located in all compact shelving areas - which are silent study areas.
Head back down the hallway and take the elevator or stairs to the fourth floor.
